Research Focus

I work across the full stack of aerospace communication systems — from RF front-end and antenna design (helical, Yagi-Uda, dipole) to software-defined radio (SDR)–based telemetry, tracking, and data downlink. My research bridges experimental and computational domains, combining ground-station development and field operations (NOAA/ISS reception, CubeSat balloon test) with advanced signal processing and distributed learning.

I focus on robust high-mobility waveforms such as OTFS and OFDM, and on privacy-preserving modulation recognition using federated and split learning architectures. Through this integration of hardware design and AI-driven communication intelligence, my goal is to enable secure, high-throughput connectivity for CubeSat and UAV networks.

Research Interests
  • Automatic Modulation Classification (AMC) with deep learning under high mobility and low SNR.
  • OTFS/OFDM waveform design in the delay–Doppler domain for UAV/satellite links.
  • Federated and split learning for privacy-preserving communications intelligence.
  • SDR-based ground systems for LEO satellites and UAV telemetry, tracking, and data links.
  • Antenna design and RF front-ends for compact avionics platforms.
Projects
Ground Station for LEO Orbit Satellites
  • Developed and tested helical, Yagi-Uda, and dipole antennas for miniature satellites.
  • Built an automated, tracking-enabled ground station with SDR-based reception.
  • Established communication with NOAA satellites and the International Space Station.
  • Validated performance via a high-altitude balloon test with a miniaturized CubeSat.
  • Secured research grants from Bangladesh Air Force and AAUB authority.
Leader, Science & Environment Analysis Team — AAUB Rover 71 (2024-2025)
  • Directed the rover's communication subsystem design, integration, and testing, ensuring robust field performance and system readiness.
  • Co-authored IEEE-published findings presented at an international conference.
  • Expanded expertise in electrical & electronics while leading fundraising, proposal development, and recruitment to scale a high-impact team.
